ZAFAR ALI

Zafar Ali is a Lahore-based visual artist, who graduated from the National College of Arts (Lahore) with a degree in Miniature painting

in 2020. He works with multiple mediums, using an unconventional approach to visual arts. Received 1st prize in PurAzm Award for painting (2020). His works have been featured in multiple galleries all over Pakistan including O’art space, Sanat Initiative, Full Circle Gallery, Khamsa Gallery, PNCA, 8B2 Islamabad, Muse Gallery, Satrang Gallery, Artscape Gallery, his works were included in LDF x NCA collaborative online group show, and a couple of his works are in the collection of Ambiance Hotel Karachi.
He has also worked as an assistant curator for the project and exhibition ‘Anarkali Is Alive’, 2021. Previously he worked at the National College of Arts Lahore as faculty, and as an Art teacher and Visual Arts Coordinator at Najam Naqvi Center for the Arts, and as a Project Head of “KHAAS” -a project of the Bank of Punjab in 2021. His recent works were displayed in “A Mirror on my heart” at Satrang Gallery, Islamabad, 2023.
