Javaid Joya
Javaid Joya born in 1999, is a visual artist from Quetta, Baluchistan. He completed his BFA from National College of Arts, Lahore 2021
with a distinction, specializing in painting. He participated in many exhibitions in Quetta including Young artist exhibition in Alhamra Art council, Lahore. He joined academic art class from 2005 under supervision of Ustad Hatif, and also trained two years at RM Naem studio, Lahore, before his BFA. His painting is in a glamour’s collection of Ambiance boutique art hotel, Lahore. Javaid has exhibited in group exhibtions including Broadcast vol 2, at O Art space, 2022; Fresh Mint, at Full Circle Gallery, Karachi, 2022, Group exhibition at VM art Gallery, Karachi 2023 and Quetta Art Fair, at Baluchistan University, 2023. Javaid was also shortlisted for Anna Molka Award 2022.
